GONE
but never forgotten
We remember and celebrate the life of Brantley Ryan McCarty whose journey ended far too early, taken from us in a tragic car accident. His passing leaves behind a silence that words can’t fill, and a grief that runs deep — yet also a memory that will never fade.

He was more than just a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend — he was a light to everyone who knew him. He had a heart full of compassion and a soul deeply connected to the world around him. Family was everything to him. Whether sharing a quiet moment, a laugh around the dinner table, or lending a hand without needing to be asked, he loved fiercely and selflessly.

He found peace in nature. The water, woods, trails, and fields were his sanctuary. He would disappear for hours outdoors — riding, fishing, exploring — and return with stories, muddy boots, and a calm in his eyes that only nature could give. He didn’t just enjoy the outdoors — he belonged to it.

Animals trusted him. They sensed what we all knew: that he was gentle, patient, and kind. Whether it was a loyal dog by his side or a wild creature crossing his path, he had a way of making them feel safe — the same way he made people feel.

Though his life was taken far to soon, it was full of meaning. In his years, he gave more love, lived with more purpose, and left more of an imprint than many do in a lifetime. His memory lives on in the wind through the trees, in the quiet moments we feel him near, and in the stories we’ll tell for the rest of our lives.

We will miss his laugh. His bear hugs. His way of making you feel like everything was going to be okay.

He is gone, but never forgotten.
Forever in our hearts, always by our side — in the wild places he loved and in the love that will never leave us.
